What we do
From a half acre of fence row to twenty acres of timber-choked ground, we bring the right machine and finish the job.
One machine, one pass. Brush, saplings and undergrowth ground into a clean mulch layer that protects your soil — no burn piles, no hauling.
Building sites, pasture, food plots and trails cleared and graded to the line you want, ready for the next crew.
Hazard trees, fence rows and yard removals handled with proper rigging and cleanup — nothing left behind.
Trimming, canopy work, deadwood and stump grinding to keep mature trees safe and healthy.
Downed trees and blocked drives cleared fast. We take emergency calls and get you access again.
Overgrown fence lines reclaimed and ATV or hunting trails cut clean through heavy cover.
On the ground
Mulching leaves a chip layer that holds moisture, stops erosion and breaks down into the ground — instead of burn piles, ruts and hauling bills. Most properties are usable the day we leave.

Straight answers
The questions Indiana landowners ask us most — priced, scoped and explained in plain language.
Forestry mulching uses a tracked machine with a rotating drum of carbide teeth to grind standing brush, saplings and undergrowth into a mulch layer that stays on the ground. There are no burn piles, no debris hauling and no dump fees, and the chip layer protects the soil from erosion.
Most Indiana mulching jobs are priced per acre based on stem density, tree size and access. Light brush and fence rows cost far less per acre than heavy timber understory, so RD Forestry Mulching walks the property first and gives a flat written price before any work starts.
RD Forestry Mulching is based in Logansport, Indiana and works statewide, including Kokomo, Lafayette, Peru, Rochester, Delphi, Monticello, Carmel, Fishers, Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Select out-of-state jobs are considered.
Typically 1 to 3 acres per day. Open pasture with light brush moves fast, while dense saplings and heavy understory take longer per acre.
